At school we are creating animations with an app called stop motion. Stop motion is where you take photos of an object and each time you take a photo you move it slightly so when you look at the video it looks like the object can move!

Our team is Grace, Skylah and me. We are creating a playground scene with little characters made out of plasticine called, bob, June and July. Bob is my character, June is skylah’s character and July is Graces character.

Our play is about all the characters go to the park and want to play hide and seek but when June and July go and hide a grandma falls over and July is being mean about it, but June backs up for the granny and asks if you are okay!

The title of the book is Dragon Skin by Karen Foxlee itb has a five days throw the whole story.

Introduction

so, this term we have been doing a novel on Dragon Skin. we are doing this book to get us on a higher level on understanding things like one of the questions are why are Pips mums roses dying could this be a symbol of something? it is trying to get you to a higher level so that you can understand the story and what is going on. And our teacher chose this book to get us higher understanding and get us to work harder and think harder.

The idea of the story is life it is showing you the characters emotions and feeling so you can understand that life not so perfect.

Who is pip and who is pips mum well I’m about to tell you… 2 seconds later, so pip is the main character that finds the dragon down by the waterhole, and pips mum is the mum of pip and she has a boyfriend named Matt he is so abusive that when he gets mad, he bumps against the wall really angerly.

characters, Pip, pips mum Mellissa, Matt, Pips friends Archie, Laura and the best friend in the universe with the backpack that has everything in it…Mika!!

Messages: this book has a bit of a sad ending but a very good book, Some themes are very dark and other thing are nice.

Also I forgot to mention little falla the dragon Pip found him by the waterhole nearly dead so in five days of the story she saved him yay.

 

My plan

I wrote all the information about all the materials and I made sure I had a good amount of steampunk bits and bobs nut and screws. I used labels and arrow to show what I was using. I listed all the materials and put labels on them. I didn’t get all the materials so I changed my design to fit all the materials I had. Then when we are building we use hot glue guns to put it together. After we finish with the glue guns we have to pack it I leave it back the way it was before clean. I completed my dragon and it matched my plan perfectly as you can see down there the plan and the dragon.

Hi at our faction carnival we have 4 teams red was the one I was in, and the other ones are blue, yellow and green (can’t tell you the names! 🙂 ) thumbs up…

at our carnival we have 7 sports pass ball, leader ball, flags, chicken race, tug Awar, racing and relays. first up we had the chicken relay and green won, next we had flags, and it was close and blue won1 next we had leader ball and red won then all the other one’s blah blah blah… yellow and red then blue again then red again.

At The End…

The announcements came on they said 4th is green then it was… yellow 3rd then just by ten points in was… my heart was pounding was it us who was 2nd or was it blue the lady on the speaker announced that blue had                                                                                              won and red had come 2nd…

Yesterday in the rain, (p.s we actually didn’t go in the rain) we went to barbecues galore and Bunnings. At Bunnings we bought a mat to go under the barbecue to soak up the oil. At the barbecues galore we were deciding between the original which my dad wanted and he premium of course my mum wanted.

the decision maker me and my brother and sister. Original= Payton and Dad  premium= Oakley, me and Mum. 3/2 PREMIUM WINS.

so we got premium and we got 2 FREE THINGS. They were a cover and a thingmajig that roasts marshmallows.

And at the end of the day we had a roast with veggies.

So, I am going to write about the lightning carnival. It is were we do sports. One of the sports is modcrosse. That is the one I am doing. And there is also football, netball, soccer & rugby. The lightning carnival is only for years 5 & 6.

My friends are Indy & Zarah, Ella B and Ella P. Indy and me are doing mod crosse and the rest of my friends are doing netball!

I am going to talk a little about modcrosse. Okay, so modcrosse is a game where you have a long stick with a basket kind of thing on the end of it. And the aim of the game is to get it in the goals. Just say you have a ball on the ground, you pooper scooper it up with the end of it and then you throw it to another person on your team. That is all about modcrosse for now.

At the day…

It was nice weather for the first few games, then after the break it was pouring down and we still had to play the game.

In the end we came 5th with 15 points and we won three games ):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):). Also my mum was the helper for Ms Stefanski and the coach for my team too with Esther’s mum, Gemma.

 

My pets are bell my cat and ruby my dog and I also have 3 chickens named Rossy, Ann and Guiney.

my family are all different in different ways and my family are Payton the youngest and Oakley my older brother and Elyssa my big sister.

my parents are Tiana my mum and Jeremy my dad.

The door had a creepy sense to it.

The was a door I do not know what kind of door just a door.

There was a shadow of a human with a door next to it but when I looked around the corner there was no human.

In spelling we use 3 words to start a story. Story starters are engaging starters for a story or a novel. This weeks story starters are explode tragedy and galaxy.

Explode=My house exploded into millions of little pieces.

Tragedy=there was a tragedy at my house.

Galaxy=she got lost in the galaxy with no space helmet.

at school we also made up a story with this story starter⤵️it was already a book ⤵️

Swimming is the BEST!I passed level 7

We have a really good swimming teacher! We do backstroke, freestyle, survivel backstroke and a whole lot of other ones.
