We did are poem in similes to explain how good or bad it was. And we didn’t have to write about what we did in the holiday. We just had to find good or bad words to explain how it was.
My holiday sounded as quiet as a mouse,
Like farms and old town roads,
Like car engines starting for a long road trip,
Like dog waiting for a fun play.
My holiday smelled like rosemary and leaves on an autumn day,
Like a candle, chocolate and ice-cream,
Like Mr whippy and his/her ice-cream,
Like chocolate in a factory freshly made.
My holiday felt like an ooddie being put on,
Like jumping into your bed with a warm hot chocolate,
Like a splash in the beach on a hot day,
Like wining the raffle and getting a prize.
My holiday tasted like cooked barbecue,
Like pancakes and toast and whipped cream,
Like curry and sausages like lemons and pears,
Like lolly packets just being opened.
